Friday Gratitudes – the newly unemployed version

1. Laid off in the spring – more daylight hours and warmer days –

2. I get to create a new daily schedule

3. I live in a country / province where there are systems in place to assist us navigate these unprecedented times

4. I can now do our weekly shopping excursion on a week day – easier to physical distance from others

5. My lavender tulips

Well, well, well. Isn’t life interesting. I was officially temporarily laid off yesterday from my day job with Black Press Media. Hardly surprising given the circumstances. Some learning opportunities presented themselves. ??‍♀️

Sheesh. Going to use this weekend to gather some thoughts and evaluate and reflect on the month of March. I had also planned on setting my intentions for April so, timing is perfect to pivot and start carving out a new path. It is an opportunity.

.

Of course I am sad and frustrated too. More and more change keeps getting thrown in my path. I feel like Neo in the Matrix: bring it. What is the alternative? I can do hard things. We can do hard things. Together.

.

This is what I trained for. I am a Life Coach and I help people with transitions. If you are at a crossroads, either by choice or it was chosen for you, reach out and let’s chat. I may be able to help your reframe it and assist you in charting a new path. Let’s live proactively with intention. No more living by default. Reach out and let’s have a conversation.
