Who did you admire this year? Why? Did they inspire you to do anything differently? Did you tell them you admired them?
I admire people doing the hard work. Living out their days, having the difficult conversations, writing about their experiences, the ones who step away and come back rejuvenated and willing to be vulnerable. I admire people who have been able to question their faith and come back to it. I admire people whose faith has evolved. I admire people who can pray because right at this moment I cannot. I am open to learning and listening. And watching and waiting.
