Favourite book you read in 2019  Fiction or non fiction? Or one from each category.  Why did you love it? Did you read it upon a recommendation?  Who recommended it? Audio counts. Was it a gift? Did you gift a book?  


I do not know if I have a clear favourite this year. At first, I could not recall amy books. After Dad got sick, and eventually died I lost the capacity to read books in their entirety.

Where the Forest meets the Stars by Glendy Verandah

Shout by Laurie Halse Anderson

Maybe you should talk to someone by Lori Gottlieb

I believe everyone of these books was recommended by someone on Instagram. I am giving books for Christmas presents this year! I hope that my ability to focus long term improves in 2020 and I can read novels again.
